Key Accountabilities

As a GD&T Expert your key responsibilities will cover:

  • To perform the role of “GD&T expert”.
  • Understand requirements and translate them into engineering specifications.
  • Provide engineering interface(FN/EARC) including visits to site as required.
  • Design and approval of manufacturing drawings.
  • Work closely with specialist in FN and ensure quality of drawings.
  • Quality checks for manufacturing drawings(FN and EARC).


Qualifications and experience


These are specialist roles and you should have:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical stream.
  • 8-12 years of experience. (Preferably experience of German manufacturing company)
  • Preferably Engine Domain.
  • Need excellent exposure to manufacturing process. (Casting, Sheet metal, Piping)
  • Exposure of quality control/measurement methods.
  • Excellent exposure to GD&T practices. (ISO GPS standard- ASME need not apply)
  • Excellent in communication.  Knowing German will be a huge advantage.
  • Hands on exp. on any 3D CAD tool.
  • Individual contributor to enhance the GD&T skill set
  • Work with due regard to all company policies including those of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.
  • Conduct the job in a manner that is in the best interest of Rolls-Royce Power Systems.
  • Ability to work in a global team.
  • Willing to travel worldwide.
