- .Assist Sales Manager in the preparation of annual plans / budgets for the assigned products and defined territory.
- Visit customer intensively to generate / follow-up enquiries, seek out market opportunities, secure sales and promote sales.
- Study customer needs, prepare offers, tenders & contracts. Prepare techno-economic feasibility reports & projects, modernisation schemes etc.
- Render technical services to customers in drawing-up specifications, selection of machinery, layout plans, utilities & facilities to be established.
- Help customers in exercising options on financing purchases and commercial formalities.
- Execute orders conforming to contractual terms & conditions. Timely realisation of payments, outstandings and C-Forms.
- Arrange prompt erection / commissioning of machinery and processing of reports to make good shortages, replacements for material / manufacturing defects, insurance claims etc. expeditiously.
- Relate with service staff to render efficient after sales service on complaints on machine / process problems, break-downs, product application etc.
- Plan training of customer’s technical personnel at our Principals Works according to the programme.
- Collect and apprise Sales Manager with information on
— market and competition
— performance of own and competitors machinery on varying conditions and applications
— customer complaints and also areas of best performance of our machinery
- Market services.
