Job Responsibilities:
Superior Product:
1. Maturity:
Part / Component / Product maturity is as per the book of requirements. Personal inputs from team members should be visible to meet the book of requirements. Areas for improvement are early detected in the development process. Identification and setting of countermeasures

2. Quality: Part / Component / Product Design and Development

2.1 Develop cost and weight optimized parts.

2.2 Styling modifications / packaging feasibility.

2.3 Manufacturing feasibility study is done while developing new parts.

2.4 Countermeasures to improve product maturity are implemented.

2.5 Lessons learnt are documented and implemented.

3. Benchmarking:
Part / Component / Product benchmarking to focus on MB brand value “The best or Nothing”.

1. Innovations:
1.1 Incremental innovative solutions provided to achieve better part/component/product quality.

(Comfort, Cost, Weight, Function, Styling, Packaging, Timing)

1.2 Breakthrough innovation.

2. Safety Ratings and Features:
2.1 Inputs and concepts to achieve better safety ratings

Operational Excellence:
1. Timing:
Tasks are done in a timely manner. Priorities are set according to the company interests.

2. Documentation:
Documentation of actual project status is regularly updated and available. Regular project updates are notified to Team Leads and HoD. Escalation is done if needed.

3. Standardization:
Team members know the standards at Daimler AG and implement those in his development process.
