Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide assistance to technical and operational personnel.
Play a pivotal role in implementing Operational control, monitoring and visibility to the platforms.
Responsible to apply the Patches on Operating System.
Good understanding to identifying the Webserver issue
Good understanding of Network flow of web services
Must have a knowledge of Internet Proxy server configuration
Analyses and resolves problems associated with operating systems.
Consult with users to identify current operating procedures.
Experience in Software version management is preferred.
Assist in other areas as directed.

Skillset:

Windows (3-5 years)

Experience on ITIL based ticketing system
Experience working in Credit Card or Financial industry
Network and deployment knowledge VLAN, Switching, Firewall
Should be able to adopt new technology/monitoring tools
Experience with file transfer protocols like FTP, FTPS, SFTP
Excellent communication skills are required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willing to work off-hours in an on-call schedule

Active Directory DNS, LDAP
Offering technical support to users, upgrading software, and handling user accounts
Organizational unit setup and delegation of administration
Group policy creation and modification
Administration of AD sites, subnets and site links, and schema changes
WSUS –
Advanced knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues
Awareness about patching process
IIS
Maintains and monitors all IIS applications to ensure performance and availability.
Performs troubleshooting and responses to all IIS related application issues.
Administration of network and server monitoring, in regards to web hosting
Certificate Authority
Experience to apply the SSL certificate on production websites
Should have knowledge of TLS 1.2 and SHA256
OS Hardening and Vulnerability assessment

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide technical assistance for analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of a Java application in a UNIX or Linux Platform.
Provide assistance to technical and operational personnel.
Play a pivotal role in implementing Operational control, monitoring and visibility to the platforms.
Responsible to apply the Patches on Operating System.
Good understanding to identifying the Webserver issue
Experience to apply the SSL certificate on production websites.
Good understanding of Network flow of web services
Must have a knowledge of Proxy server configuration
Verify operating system configuration files, kernel parameters, network settings and other required application changes.
Analyzes and resolves problems associated with operating systems.
Consult with users to identify current operating procedures.
Experience in Software version management is preferred.
Assist in other areas as directed.

Skills:

4-6 years of applicable UNIX\Linux system administration experience in a 24/7 operating environment.
Scripting experience is a must. (Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby)
Preferred Knowledge of Jboss, Webserver, Tomcat, Java Based application
File Transmission and Job scheduling software
Experience with file transfer protocols like FTP, FTPS, SFTP
Good Understanding and hands on experience in TCP/IP networking, GIT or other revision control.
Experience with network and server hardware procurement and detailed record keeping supporting mission networks.
Experience patching and updating Linux server operating systems and configuring Linux server network integration.
Experience monitoring network activity and network traffic redirection. Familiarity with proxy implementations (e.g. iptables, mod_proxy, digital certificates etc.).
In-depth understanding of Linux operating systems (e.g. RedHat, Centos, Ubuntu, Unix).
Ability to research the latest technological developments in relevant operating systems to identify impact and anticipate changes in the organizations operating environment.
Knowledge of file transmission security and best practice: encryption technology, key exchange, internet v private circuit
Experience working in Credit Card or Financial industry is a plus.
Experience in supporting a hybrid environment with multiple operating systems.
Excellent communication skills are required
Willing to work off-hours in an on-call schedule
Strong analytical, troubleshooting skills required. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, customer service and communication skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and business direction.
